Hey I’m Abigail. I currently live in Barbados but I was born in Jamaica,
were I lived for ten years then moved to Bermuda for about six years. I really
enjoyed my time in these different Caribbean islands and was inspired by their
picturesque scenery and amazing attraction. As well as this, I really enjoy
travel and visiting new interesting places without having to spend too much. I also love spending time with my family while on vacation so I decided to write this blog about Jamaica because there are so many great places
there that families tend to think are’ out of reach’, whether it is because of
the expense or the safety.
There are many incorrect assumptions out there stating that Jamaica is ‘too dangerous’ for a family vacation, but guess what! Most of those assumptions are incorrect. Jamaica is a reasonably large island consisting of over 4000 square miles and 2,709,300 people. Assuming we are all intelligent people, this means that since the country is not going through a period of war, every single corner of the country could not possibly be unsafe. In other words, in my opinion there are only a few parts of the country that are pretty sketchy. So in my blog I will be showing you just how much fun your family can have at a good price with safety guaranteed. The attractions I will be writing about are also ones that are, as previously stated, cost friendly as well as kid friendly, so we won’t have any problems with inappropriate settings or overly expensive costs. The attractions I will be writing about range from thrilling amusement parks that both kids and adults are bound to enjoy to calm, serene waterfalls were both kids and adults can relax. The prices of these unique and exhilarating attractions will range from free to about $170 (us), plus your airfare of course, which may not be as expensive as you think.

Accommodation in Jamaica can also be quite inexpensive depending on
where you want to stay and what you are willing to pay. There are many gorgeous
places and hotels in which one can stay at in Jamaica. These hotels are located
in areas such as Montego Bay, Ocho Rios and Negril. In my personal opinion the
best are to stay in is Negril, not only is it the safest but it features a long
stretch of beached and hotels most of which are reasonably priced, so that you
are able to visit some of the incredible attractions located in this area
without playing too much. Hotels I would suggest to visit in this area include
the light house Inn 2 which is only $50 per night and features a both rustic
and homely feel. If you are looking for something more high class, I suggest
the Moon dance cliffs which feature a group of breathtaking, spacious villas
ranging from one bed room to five bedrooms.
So, since you are now equipped with accommodation ideas, remember to
visit my blog again to see what amazing attractions will be featured!!!!
